Anti-Bullying Themed Teepee Wins Primary School Design Competition

Chaucer Junior School in Ilkeston, Derbyshire have won a ‘Design a Teepee’ competition run by British lifestyle brand FieldCandy. The competition was open to primary schools in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire and challenged children to “get creative” and design their own teepee. The winning design was then turned into a Little Campers teepee - FieldCandy’s popular children's play tent.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT

Keeping Kids Cosy is a new project designed to help families with young children who are struggling with fuel poverty. Recently launched by the National Energy Foundation, the project will work across the whole of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. It is funded by Scottish Power Energy People’s Trust and supported by the local authorities in the area.
