A native Glaswegian, Akbar has spent the past twelve years teaching physics in the Middle East. His latest project is original to say the very least, teaming up with his students to produce a bright and engaging summary book for the entire Cambridge IGCSE Physics course.

The author, Kaleem Akbar (BSc Hons; MSc; PGDE), has over a decade’s international teaching experience of Physics at IGCSE and A level. He has produced a textbook which fully explains the physics content in clear and simple terms without losing the integrity of the subject matter. This book is unique in that Kaleem’s students have been involved in its design, helping to make it accessible to students from various backgrounds.
This book contains clearly illustrated diagrams, step by step calculations and valuable additional support materials such as a complete formulae summary and glossary of important terms. All core and extended material is clearly highlighted and as a whole helps to guide the learner. The font size is large and the text is well spaced out and easy on the eye. It contains comprehensive notes.
