Reckon You Can Conquer Manchester's Own Everest Peak? - Chill Factore
Chill Factore launches new snow experience, Altitude, in time for half term Chill Factore, one of Manchester’s favourite visitor attractions, has announced a new interactive snow challenge called Altitude.
The fun ‘Reach the Peaks’ format is designed to add a competitive element to the real snow excitement.
Altitude is open to everyone from the age of four upwards and features all of Chill Factore’s favourite snow and ice rides including Downhill Donuts, Luge Slip’n’Slide and Sledge-O-Mania.
The new experience will offer guests the chance to team up with other exhilaration seekers and take on the challenge of accumulating as many slope metres as possible to ‘Reach the Peaks’.
Teams will go head-to-head in the ultimate adrenaline rush to get as many runs in as possible during the game. Each ride down the Downhill Donuts, Luge Slip’n’Slide and Sledge-O-Mania will earn your team those all-important metres and every metre will move your team further up the mountain peaks score board: the faster you slide, the higher you climb.
Whether you accumulate enough metres to conquer Nepal’s Mount Everest (which stands at a whopping 8848m above sea level) or Japan’s Mount Fuji (quite a bit lower at 3776m), you are guaranteed a laugh! The ‘Highest Climbers’ leader boards will be published on Chill Factore’s social channels weekly, so guests will be able to gauge the competition and check their progress.
Each Altitude team will have a dedicated host and be made up of up to 20 participants who will spend an hour on the snow. The hour will include a game briefing and allow for the teams to have fifteen minutes of allotted time on each of the three rides to cover the most amount of metres possible, before the team selfie at the finish.
