Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre
Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre is located in the former parklands of the former Beaudesert Hall in Cannock Wood, Staffordshire. Beaudesert offers a wide choice of residential packages, self-catered options and various day visits. With over 125 acres including camping glades and woodland, Beaudesert is a magical setting.
The walls of the former Beaudesert Hall still stand in the grounds, Cannock chase is a short walk away as is the ancient castle ring fort. We have lodges, tented village, camping sites, cafeteria and a wide range of activities including one of the few Via Ferratas in the country. Adventurous activities also include Coracling, canoeing, rafting, high ropes, low ropes, zip lines, archery, fencing, rifles shooting and tomahawk throwing.
To add some fun to the programme we also have pedal karts, greasy pole, water wars, crazy golf and metal detecting. Our residential packages make the whole booking experience easy for you and our experienced staff will look after you throughout your stay. Our staff are the people who make the difference, they all genuinely love working with young people in the outdoors. They are passionate about making your stay as comfortable as possible and making lasting memories for you.
We also offer a range of days visits whether you are looking for a fun end of term activity day, a new term team building day or a themed day to help deliver curriculum work. Our grounds are ideal for Forest School work and in October each year we have an amazing Bushcraft and survival event with some very experienced instructors on hand to teach a range of skills including fire lighting, spoon carving and cordage making. Guest speakers at this event have included Ed Stafford and former SAS Sargent Major John “Lofty” Wiseman. During December we have Christmas themed residential experiences available that can include a mix of activities and study time.
