Accrington and Rossendale College - Higher Education Awards 2018

Tuesday 9 October saw Accrington Town Hall become a busy hive of activity as former students of Accrington and Rossendale celebrated their outstanding achievements with an Awards and Graduation Ceremony.  Wendy Higgin, Vice Principal at Accrington and Rossendale College, opened up the evening welcoming students and tutors to the event, with Assistant Principal, Charlotte Scheffmann, taking to the stage afterwards to share the highlights of Higher Education at the college over the last academic year.

Guest of honour, Mr Bill Webster, Assistant Vice Chancellor at The University of Bolton, followed suit, before the presentation of the awards.

Accrington and Rossendale College has a range of degree courses on offer including Counselling, Audio and Music Production, Health and Applied Social Sciences, Sports Science, Mental Health Work, and so on.

The evening ended with the presentation of Scholarships and the D'Angelo Memorial Award being presented.
